New Rules released for Organizations Bringing in Inpatriates and Accepting TARP Funds
The United States Government has announced additional requirements for employers who received funds under the Federal Buyout funds that affect those employers who hire H1-B Visa employees. Basically the new regulations mandate that a corporation must provide the Department of Labor with documentation that the new employee is not being hired to displace any U.S. Citizens. The regulations apply to any employee requesting an H1-B Visa where the petition was submitted on or after Febraury 17,2009. A question and answer document can be found at http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/H1-B_TARP_qa_20Mar2209.pdf
