When was the last time you jumped to a conclusion?

New Rules released for Organizations Bringing in Inpatriates and Accepting TARP Funds
The United States Government has announced additional requirements for employers who received funds under the Federal Buyout funds that affect those employers who hire H1-B Visa employees. Basically the new regulations mandate that a corporation must provide the Department of Labor with documentation that the new employee is not being hired to displace any U.S. Citizens. The regulations apply to any employee requesting an H1-B Visa where the petition was submitted on or after Febraury 17,2009. Relocation Announcement

Lafayette, IN based Schwab Corporation plans to relocate its administrative offices from Lafayette to its parent company in Rochester, New York or its manufacturing facility in Cannelton, Indiana. A company spokeswoman says several of the 16 employees who work in the Lafayette office have been offered positions at the two relocation sites. Schwab manufactures high security fire resistant products. This was reported by Inside Indiana Business in a Press Release today
